we need your help!

In order for UHA II to succeed we need a healthy dose of volunteerism from our fellow neighbors!  Please email us at or call (323) 778-5433 to learn more about what we are doing on your behalf and how you can help.

Thanks to more than 120 of our neighbors who attended our first general body meeting!  We have posted a copy of the meeting agenda, minutes & audio recording below for you to review. We appreciate Sgt. Signater from the Marina Sheriff's Station and Jeremy Rivera of ADT for their input on public safety.

More information from the meeting can be found on the UHA II "issues" page.

Thanks again to the 89 or so neighbors who participated in our second general body meeting on Sept. 17th! We had another successful meeting, and the majority of members present voted to formally oppose the new condo project by the Bedford Group at Overhill & Stocker.  We also had a lively discussion regarding the bylaws and budget and the group agreed to form a Bylaws Committee to review and revise the draft bylaws to make sure that the community has ample opportunity to provide comments and feedback on how UHA II will conduct its busines.  We agreed to present a draft budget and revised bylaws by October 15th and have another meeting to formally approve the bylaws before we have elections. Links to the meeting agenda, recording, financial report and other relevant information appear below.

We appreciate all 117 neighbors who took time out to participate in our first general body meeting of 2017!  The focus of this meeting was threefold:  to update the membership on our accomplishments to date, conduct a detailed review and discussion of the latest draft UHA II bylaws, and to encourage everyone present to join a committee and get engaged and working in direct support of the Association. The Land Use Committee circulated copies of a letter opposing the new condo development at Stocker & Overhill and asked all members to sign and return the letters.  We also benefitted from an opportunity to hear from Sgt. Signater of LA County Marina Sheriff's Station who announced that new Neighborhood Watch signs are coming and described some pending changes to parking enforcement, nuisance vehicles and restricted parking near Ingold Park to address excessive loitering and illegal activity in that area.  Several excellent suggestions were made regarding the bylaws, and the next meeting of the Bylaws Committee (as with all UHA II meetings) will be open to all members who wish to participate. Links to the meeting agenda, audio recording and the list of dues paying members as of Feb. 12th are posted below. Please make sure your name is spelled correctly and stay in touch for future updates!
